I was told by grieving family friends that they shared them over $600.00 dollars for a one day write up! That is atrocious, overly priced and a SIN!! Shame Shame Shame on the Inquirer, and all the other papers that charge such an incredible fee! This should be a free gift to it'd readers!
I just received my itemized bill from my funeral home, and it states that they paid $1,128.00 to the Philadelphia Inquirer to publish his obituary! This is robbery! I'll be calling the funeral home tomorrow!
